About the Extract Pages Tool
Extracting pulls the pages you select out of a PDF and saves them as a brand-new, smaller PDF, while leaving your original untouched. This is the opposite of removing pages: instead of deleting what you do not want, you pick only what you do want. It is the quickest way to share a single section of a long document without sending the whole thing.
How to extract pages from a PDF
- Open your source PDF.
- Select the pages you need using thumbnails or page numbers.
- Review the pages you have chosen.
- Click Extract to create a new PDF from them.
- Download the new file.
This is great for pulling one month from a yearly bank statement, lifting a single certificate out of a combined file, or sharing just the relevant pages of a contract. The whole process runs inside your web browser, so nothing is uploaded to any server and your confidential pages stay private on your own device.
